Our Mission

We commit ourselves to do the following:

To promote the continuing growth of the spiritual, professional and personal life among members of our school’s academic community.
To ensure in our school the development of self–directed and responsible Catholic student who are academically and vocationally equipped and ready to serve others;
To promote curricular programs that respond to poverty alleviation, justice and peace, environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship;
To achieve quality and excellent education, deliver responsive and relevant educational services, promote access of education and equity of educational opportunities among different types of students;
To achieve efficient and effective school governance practices;
To ascertain the institutionalization of religion as the core of the curriculum in our school; and
To promote a culture of communion among the members the academic community in our school.

Fostering intellectual curiosity and a love for learning through Christ's teachings.

Jesus teaches the truth about each person’s relationship with God and with one another through His words and deeds. In studying and reflecting the Scripture and by striving to follow the very life and teachings of Christ, the school community aims to know and understand the true meaning and purpose of the Christian life. This understanding helps in developing each member of the school community’s spiritual ability to see, know, and discern the right way to live and use the God given gifts of life, freedom, potentials and resources.

Innovation

Embracing creativity and adapting to a changing world to better serve society.

Jesus calls and challenges all persons to become the best of themselves through loving and serving others. The school community strives to become a better servant to the society. This is by updating its educational quality and providing more learning experiences where each member of the school community can apply his/her learning to concrete and current problems in the society to create and present new better solutions to the world’s present and future needs.

Service

Instilling a spirit of generosity and compassion for others, especially the needy.

In the Holy Eucharist, Jesus perpetuates His greatest service for the Kingdom of God – Christ’s selfless love and sacrifice for the Father and for God’s people on the cross. As the school community continuously celebrates the Eucharist, it receives and carries with it the loving sacrifice of Jesus and shares it to others in the community. The Mass ends not in the Eucharist celebration of the school community; it is carried and continued into Mission to others. This is done through the various social actions and outreach activities of the school especially for those who are poor and needy.

Humility

Recognizing our gifts and using them for the good of all under God's guidance.

Jesus leads His disciples to recognize their total dependence on the love and mercy of God. The school community recognizes this truth by acknowledging that it is God who leads and guides the school community as it participates in the mission of Christ in the world today. Therefore, the school community strives to properly see and understand its true worth, value and role in God’s plan of salvation. It recognizes its weaknesses by listening to the advices and comments of persons and communities and of the teachings of the Church. Likewise, the school community also recognizes its true strengths and capabilities and shares them to others.
